Slow and Simple Monday

A bowl of Fried Noodles with Mushroom, Carrot, Cabbage and Chicken Past weeks have been really busy and hectic as the international school children are now having their long summer break. I have not been cooking due to the tight schedule. Finally, today (Monday = Off Day), I managed to do some simple cooking. Went for late morning walk at Botanical Garden with Karen and followed with lunch. We then went for grocery shopping at Tesco but my energy level could not sustain long enough. I rushed to finish the shopping and head home. Took a power nap and then find some quiet time for myself to regain/charge my drained energy. Not wanting to leave the house for the rest of the day anymore. Hence, decided to cook a simple meal from whatever ingredients I can find at home. And ya, managed to cook something out of it. This bowl of noodle is special because I have added Chinese Red Wine into it as well....   :) Another hectic and packed week waiting for me! Good night!

Tsunami Hits Japan 11-Mar-2011

As I came in to the office in the afternoon, my cousin was telling me a massive earthquake and tsunami has just hit Japan. First and foremost, I started to think anyone I know in Japan and yes. I login to Facebook to check if there is any updates and to find out more in the news. Thank God, she is fine and took further look at the videos posted in YouTube. It was massive and no one could ever imagine how much more damage can it be. Click Here for more details. Please pray for the victims in Japan and all the family members affected.

What is Life?

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it. Life is beauty, admire it. Life is bliss, taste it. Life is a dream, realise it. Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is a duty, complete it. Life is a game, play it. Life is a promise, fulfill it. Life is sorrow, overcome it. Life is a song, sing it. Life is a struggle, accept it. Life is a tragedy, confront it. Life is an adventure, dare it. Life is luck, make it. Life is too precious, do not destroy it. Life is life, fight for it. --Mother Teresa

Surprise Mini - Solo Marathon

Good Morning Everyone! Finally after nearly 2 weeks of stomach upset (unknown cause; possible gastric, stomach flu or even mild food poisoning) followed with mild fever and disturbed sleeps almost every night, I feel so much refreshed and energized today! Last night, my Molly mama's maid help me to 'Gua Sha' (chinese traditional massage - scrapping of back to release body heat. As usual, my back is 'bruised' now because after the massage, the skin will turn red as if you are having a severe rash..but the effect is fantastic! I did something pretty surprise to myself today. I woke up from bed at 3.30am and feel extremely tired but just could not get back to sleep. Decided to do some reading and the effect was opposite from usual. I become more alert! Okie, then I move on to booting up my laptop and start working on some business proposals..time flies, its 6am! Without much hesitation, I changed my attire and put on my running shoes, grab my running partner (my pinky...
