Chinese New Year 2013

A brand new year has arrived again for the Chinese. I am glad to be back home and is getting one week break from work. This precious time is used to spend with our precious family members and friends especially those we have not met for almost a year. Some, we have last met during previous CNY..its great to be able to catch up and chat with them. We also welcomed quite a number of Dragon babies. Most of them were born just weeks a part....

I do not know how true is the story but knowing is better than not knowing at times..This can be a very useful information although it may be sometime ago kind of story... The next time you are stopped by persons who claimed they are plainclothes police, you are under no obligation to answer their questions or follow their orders, lawyers told Malaysiakini today. "Policeman who is not wearing his uniform does not have the authority to stop anyone," lawyer and human rights activist Sivarasa Rasiah said. Sivarasa was commenting on the alleged gang-rape of an 18-year-old Uni student by four men claiming to be police officers on New Year's Eve. The girl said that her car was stopped in Taman Tun Dr Ismail in Kuala Lumpur and were asked by the men to open the car bonnet. She was then told that she had committed an offence and ordered to follow the men to a police station. People Make Mistakes

Sounds familiar? This is very common and yes, its the truth! "People Do Make Mistakes". One important thing we need to constantly remember is..no one on earth is 'perfect'. Neither should we expect one nor try to be one. We will never find a perfect end to it, instead we will end up just living in the IDEAL world of thoughts throughout our lives. I am touching on this in this post due to many factors which I personally experience it through different circumstances. 1. If you do not accept the fact that "People Make Mistakes", you may easily set unrealistic expectations. In no time, you will find that you get upset or frustrated when things do not workout the way you may have highly expected on. 2. Worst case would be when you do not realise that you have fallen into "Perfectionist" trap, your frustration will lead to "No Confidence", and subsequently to "Self Guilt"/"Self Pity" and then....lastly "Depression"...
