My Best Friend's Wedding

Do You Know What Is Your Preference?

Okie...enough of forwarded mails..time to write something genuine this time :) Sorry..Just too busy with loads of stuff all around me..Arrghhh!! One small thing I would like to share here is about 'people' & 'anything' . At times or even most of the time we meet people who likes to say 'anything' when you asked them what they want... A simple example would be.... Which colour do u think is nicer? 'anything' What do you want to eat? 'anything' What movie shall we watch? 'anything' again!!! and many more..... Does these few questions & answers enough to sound familiar to you? :) I think it is common...Poor thing to 'anything' for always being abused on its usage...WHY do I say so?? Well, as you may realise or may want to start observing, you may come across people who don't mean to be anything when they claim to say 'anything' . Not sure what I am saying? Here's two examples... Miss A: Which colo

Fwd Mails Received - A Very Good "80/20" Rule To Remember

Dear all..lately I have been very busy with many things ...work work work..sigh...Hence do not have time to really sit down and blog.... So, you will be reading mostly forwarded mails I received lately which I find them useful and interesting.... I posted about marriage previously...this time one step backwards....Choosing Your Right Partner...or even your soul mate in life? The your life and family as well! hhhaahaha...enjoy..Thanks to Lydia for sending this mail to me ;) A very valuable lesson to learn... Interesting quote from the movie 'Why did I get married?' In most cases, especially in relationships, you will only get 80% of what you NEED and you will hardly get the other 20% that you WANT in your relationship. There is always another person (man or women) that you will meet and that will offer you the other 20% which is lacking in your relationship that you WANT And believe me, 20% looks really good when you are not getting it at all in your current relationship. But t

Fwd Mails Received - Marriage Passbook

Another story to share and this time is about marriage......... Jocelyn married William this day. At the end of the wedding party, Jocelyn's mother gave her a newly opened bank saving passbook. With $1000 deposit amount. Mother: 'Jocelyn, take this passbook. Keep it as a record of your marriage life. When there's something happy and memorable happened in your new life, put some money in. Write down what it's about next to the line. The more memorable the event is, the more money you can put in. I've done the first one for you today. Do the others with William. Wh! en you look back after years, you can know how much happin! ess you've had.' Jocelyn shared this with William when getting home. They both thought it was a great idea and were anxious to know when the second deposit can be made. This was what they did after certain time: - 7 Feb: $100, first birthday celebration for William after marriage - 1 Mar: $300, salary raise for Jocelyn - 20 Mar:

It Is All In Your Mind

For the past few weeks, I have been spending quite some time with my closed elderly people in the family. This moments are the total opposite from festive celebrations such as New Year Countdowns, Chinese New Year gatherings etc. Instead, I meet with a lot of them with different old age health problems including my dad. I meet cancer patients, I meet diabetic patient which is in severe condition, and mentally stressed individuals as well. Those are just a few examples. Going into too much of these details will make a person feel sad and even tear if u meet them face to face. It all started when a person start to lose his/her health. Then, they might slowly lost the ability to do certain things in life which they can normally do. And eventually, they need to depend on others. This has slowly resulted to tendency of having negative thoughts which then lead to stress and the depression if no moral support is given. Well, this is will then be the beginning for people to start questioning

Fwd Mails Received - Unlimited Parents Love

This is something that I must share! -Here goes the story- A son says to his father: 'Dad, would you be willingly to run a marathon with me?' The father, despite his age and a heart disease, says 'YES'. And they run that marathon, together. The son asks: 'Dad, can you run another marathon with me?' Again father says 'YES'. They run another marathon, together. One day the son asks his father: ?Dad would please do the Iron Man with me?' Now just in case you wouldn't know, 'The Iron Man' is the toughest triathlon in existence; 4km swimming, then 180 km by bike, and finally another 42 km running, in one stroke. Again father says 'YES' Maybe this doesn't 'touch' you yet by heart ... until you see this movie (put on sound!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJMbk9dtpdY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wy8hOOvM0t0&NR=1 -No matter what happens to anyone of us in life, we shall not give up HOPE
