Ride Strong into 2009

December is a crazily hectic month for me with never ending work and many other personal stuff. Thank God I managed to go for my last RPM class for 2008, yesterday. It was awesome..At the end of the class our beloved instructors gave us some sweet surprises....(See the picture above)? It Says... RIDE STRONG INTO 2009 .. Yea...let's do it..Thanks to PAT and LILIAN...Your classes has given me so much strength to finish up the entire 2008 and shall continue to ride strong into 2009. Besides, it was also my first time riding for Release 41 (never knew it will be the last for 2008) I am looking forward to more RPM classes.. Here's the tracklist:-

Another Marathon

Gosh...I disappeared again huh? Well, last weekend - my colleague and I drove to Singapore to attend the annual event " Singapore Marathon " Standard Chartered is the main sponsor and organiser of this great event. A total of 50,000 ppl registered for this event and there were about 3,800 volunteers involved to make this event a great success. Being the beginner to Marathons, I keep to only 10km category and set a personal target - make better timing compared to the first one in Penang about 3 weeks back. And I was glad that this small tiny little goal of mine have been achieved :P Penang International Marathon (10km) - 1 hr 45 mins Singapore Marathon (10km) = 1 hr 21 mins Yes!!! Note: Click on the timing link above to view more details of my running pace and route. Here's some snapshot of the Greatest Race On Earth (GROE)

It has been a long time

Phew..it is going to be a month soon since I last blog over here. What have I been busy doing>? #1 - Work #2 - Work again #3 - Workout #4 - Workout again.... Despite being busy...I still love the #3 & #4 buzynesss.... On 16 Nov, I joined my first Marathon run in Penang. (Penang International Bridge Run). Being a first timer, I humbly signed up for only 10km run. It was an amazing experience. I never thought I could finish up the entire 10km...from there, I start to love running... Ever since then, I started training in the gym for at least 5km each time I hop unto the running machine :) the feeling is so great!

Birthday Celebration in Advance!!

ITS BLUEBERRY CHEESE CAKE! MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE! As usual, we will definitely have a small get together each year with the same few close brothers and sisters in Christ to celebrate our birthday. Yesterday was supposed to be a belated birthday celebration for Hui Zhen...we had wonderful fulfilling Korean BBQ dinner at Sri Petaling. Out of sudden when come to singing birthday song, everyone decided to sing two times. One for Hui Zhen's belated birthday and another one for Me! Birthday in advance. How wonderful....Thanks to HZhen, Tlock, Li Ching and FSeng for spending time with each other. Life is really beautiful with all of you around...

Baby Ian is 3 months old now!

This is my second time seeing baby Ian since he was born. He was only 2 weeks old when I first met him..and wow...in just three months, he has changed so much...Dont u think so?

Do you have the entrepreneurial dreams?!

I was reading the Newsweek yesterday and saw a write up on Tyra Banks. If you like to watch America's Next Top Model, you will know who she is. Reading the article about her is not something very special like reading any write up of the world famous people. However, there is something at the very end of this article that I find it interesting and can be shared, especially people who yet to live the life they want... If you have entrepreneurial dreams, you have to live it and breathe it. You have to treat the idea like a baby, like your child. You don't sleep when you have a new baby. I didn't sleep. I didn't have weekends. I worked non-stop. You wouldn't let just anybody baby-sit your child. ~ Tyra Banks So..People! What is your dream and are you living in it yet?! Entrepreneurs! Do you breathe it?? :)

I have been busy travelling

It have been more than 2 weeks since I last updated my blog. First I was busy rushing to complete my house painting, then getting the basic furnitures and then moving into the new apartment. It has been going on for few weekends. At the same time, I was having loads of things to deliver at work. Traveled to Singapore during the F1 week and then to Hong Kong during the Raya week....It was a crazy schedule. And this week I am back in Malaysia. Managed to get the washing machine and fridge delivered so that I can clear my piles of laundry and keep food in the fridge. So whats next, I can finally go back to Sitiawan this weekend to ..... Fix my overdue braces, meet my parents and also my little Bobby!!!! Yeeaa!!! Then next week I need to travel to Indonesia for another business meeting....the crazy schedule shall then resume...Wish me all the Best!

Bread Talk?!

It is now 1.47am. The bread was just out from the mini factory less than 15 mins ago. You must be wondering what is this all about?!!? Yesterday, my bro and sis-in-law brought out the breadmaker from Sitiawan. Mum gave a speedy demo on how to use this little machine and here we go..the output>>>> The Bread Factory After 3 hours...its finally done! The bread out from factory.. Completely out and ready to be cut! Take a look inside the bread... Milo with Bread complementing each other...

Cotton Make Over

I sent my rabbits for grooming over the weekend. This is the first time they went for grooming since they were bought from the Pet Shop. The grooming is all about make over. I never thought that a rabbit can be groomed and the outlook can change so extreme. When I went to pick them up, I got a shock. I thought my rabbits have been exchanged to other rabbits....I can't believe they are the same rabbit. Take a look at Cotton! BEFORE!!! AFTER!!!

Everyone gets Something!!

And...This is what I get from our annual 'Team Building' - Kingston Thumbdrive (4GB)...No more reason to say 'Not enough space'

What's in My Handbag? The Handbag Meme

Alamak! I was tag by my aunt! hehehe.... Mdm MohLee Below is what the tag is all about:- Here are the rules. Find a safe quiet place free of significant others, nosey meme makers, priests, nuns, all things religious and men in general. (If you're a guy just reverse this process to male and tell us about your wallet, tool box, briefcase or metro sexual accessory.) 1. Dump the contents of your handbag in a pile 2. Take a photo of your handbag and the contents 3. Be brave and 'splain to your fellow bloggers what lurks inside the handbag. 4. Tag others who might want to embarrass themselves 5. Answer these questions: Describe the contents of your handbag. What's the most important thing in your handbag? What's the most embarrassing thing in your handbag? What's the smallest thing in your handbag? Is there anything illegal in your handbag? This meme was started by Mimi, Queen of Memes who thinks up brilliant memes. Okie...here is my answer... What's the most importan...

After So......Many Years!

It has been nearly 10 years..(Soon to be 10 years) since we left school. We finally had a gathering over the weekend. We had a lunch get together with a few close Primary and Secondary Convent Girls....It was indeed great that after so many years, we still made the effort to meet up and update each other on our lives....Poor Yin Fen, have to repeat her career profile again and again in one gathering alone because each of us arrived at different time. A photo of memory...Guess who is who!

WILD Dolphin Watching @ Lovina, Bali

One of our most memorable trip in Bali was Wild Dolphin watching at Lovina Beach, Bali Indonesia. Many of us could not believe that we can watch so many wild dolphins in places like Bali and its watching them from very near as well. We left the beach at 6am sharp..while searching for the wild dolphins, we get to view the beautiful sunrise at the same time.. :) There were more than 100 small boats heading to the sea just to look for wild dolphins..we were so anxious and worried if we have the luck to meet the dolphins... After nearly an hour, we finally found them... a very big group of them..Below photos show one of the many big groups around us.. Click on the picture to have a clearer view of my favourite snap shot..

Home Sweet Home in Progress

When I bought the little apartment, I was relieve as it was well maintained and does not require much work.... During the weekend, I decided to sacrifice my long weekend to sort out my house. It was not as simple as I thought. Thank God that my brother, my sis in law and her brother came to help...and not to forget, my 3 lovely friends came for rescue too...painting the walls and grill cannot be completed yet...the grill alone can be a killer... This is my living hall before the makeover.... And this is the door to my Home Sweet Home...(the grills were newly painted) I will post up more photos especially after the makeover..

Decided to Stay Back to Paint the Apartment

It is a long weekend for Merdeka holidays. I have planned to go back hometown to spend my weekend with my parents as well as the lovely dogs. However, due to the limited weekends that I have before I move into my new apartment, I need to give up the trip and start painting my apartment. Thank God I am not going to do it alone. My bro, cousins and friends will be helping out. Will post up before and after photos once the painting is complete.

No Rooms For Us in Bali?!

Welcome back to Bali again! I remembered in my previous posting I mentioned there were no rooms for us.So, what happen actually?? Adhi Dharma Hotel Lobby We booked our hotel online from website which belong to external party. We are not sure what went wrong that the hotel did not reserve the rooms for us. August is the peak month where most hotels are fully booked. The hotel realised their mistake up front and apologised. The offered us with Family Suite with complimentary massage or dinner. However, Dylan was smart...he requested to view the family suite first...he told us, 'Lets view first..if the room is not good then we can ask for more compensation...aakkakaka!' So we went to view the rooms...(no photos taken) we were too busy worrying about the rooms..When we get into the room..it was a total disappointment...2 single bed and one double bed in a row...that's it...no living hall..and only one bathroom...we were so disappointed..."you call this family suite?"....

Our first Meal in Bali, Indonesia

We arrive at Denpasar around 3pm and took a cab to the hotel. The journey was less than 30 minutes and it cost all together RM50,000 per cab (RM18.00). Upon arrival, the hotel told us that they have missed our booking. Hence NO ROOM for us!!! Hahaha...i shall tell you guys more about it in my next posting..let me share our nice food first....heheh...once we checked-in, u can see 4 hungry ghost roaming at Kuta Town looking for food. We found a restaurant nearby the hotel (walking distance)called Simpang Inn and this is what we ate.. Caq Au Vin (Rp 40,000) It is French's Favourite which include chicken, mushroom, bacon, onion, green pepper, and carrot, served with potato. Oriental SteakFish Marlin (Rp 40,000) Pork Chop (Rp 53,000) Thai Coconut Chicken with Steam Rice (Rp38,000) Teh Botol (Rp 4,000) - All of us had the same drink..but not all of us like it..

Away to Bali.......

I have been away for exactly a week. What happen?! I went to Bali, Indonesia with my 3 lovely friends...it was a 5 days 4 nights breakaway, covering major places in Bali. The entire trip cost us less than RM1.2k (flight + hotels + food + transport on the ground). Thanks to Air Asia , we managed to book the return flight for only around RM350 per person early March this year. We booked our accomodation via online website www.hoteltravel.com . You can find greats deals online without going to Matta Fair. Upon arriving Bali, we grab all the free travel brochures and start planning our trips ...will post more details in the up coming posts....check out yea!
