Online Article Sharing: It takes 21 days to develop a HABIT

Ever begin doing something that you do for a few days, and then simply stop doing it?For example, let’s say you promised yourself that you were going to file papers immediately before they got out of hand, but then something else came up, and the next thing you knew, you had another pile of papers that needed to be filed.

Or perhaps, on January 1 you made a vow to yourself to exercise for 20 minutes every day. You exercised for a few days. But then, by January 5, you gave up.This happens to everyone on one occasion or another. But, you really can start getting things done!Next time you really want to do something, and you want to actually start and continue doing it, realize that doing it for one, two, or even three days in a row is usually not enough. It takes at least 21 days to form a habit. This means that you have to do something at least 21 times before it begins to become part of your everyday routine.

I get to know this idea from my friend in cultivate new habit which is wearing a rubber band on your hand when u are practising the habit. If you miss it, you will need to plug it and hit your hand to feel the pain.

Dont know it works or not!! ChrisHong

WHAT TO DO IF STOPPED BY MALAYSIAN POLICE

I do not know how true is the story but knowing is better than not knowing at times..This can be a very useful information although it may be sometime ago kind of story... The next time you are stopped by persons who claimed they are plainclothes police, you are under no obligation to answer their questions or follow their orders, lawyers told Malaysiakini today. "Policeman who is not wearing his uniform does not have the authority to stop anyone," lawyer and human rights activist Sivarasa Rasiah said. Sivarasa was commenting on the alleged gang-rape of an 18-year-old Uni student by four men claiming to be police officers on New Year's Eve. The girl said that her car was stopped in Taman Tun Dr Ismail in Kuala Lumpur and were asked by the men to open the car bonnet. She was then told that she had committed an offence and ordered to follow the men to a police station. The girl was driven in her car along the North-South expressway to the Tapah-Cameron Highlands road before...

People Make Mistakes

Sounds familiar? This is very common and yes, its the truth! "People Do Make Mistakes". One important thing we need to constantly remember is..no one on earth is 'perfect'. Neither should we expect one nor try to be one. We will never find a perfect end to it, instead we will end up just living in the IDEAL world of thoughts throughout our lives. I am touching on this in this post due to many factors which I personally experience it through different circumstances. 1. If you do not accept the fact that "People Make Mistakes", you may easily set unrealistic expectations. In no time, you will find that you get upset or frustrated when things do not workout the way you may have highly expected on. 2. Worst case would be when you do not realise that you have fallen into "Perfectionist" trap, your frustration will lead to "No Confidence", and subsequently to "Self Guilt"/"Self Pity" and then....lastly "Depression"...

Weekend within Klang Valley

It has been many many many weeks since I last spent my weekend here without traveling to anywhere out of Klang Valley..and yet, weekend was interesting! Saturday - Started my morning workout with Mary at gym by attending Kat's Fitball Core class. One very crucial lesson learnt in the class was - in order to stay balanced with the ball, u shall stay focus! This does not apply only in the class, but we should apply to our daily life as well. Agree with me? Headed to church for Sabbath Service after lunch. The sermon by Pr Daniel was about Lead a much More Beautiful Life :) Guess the message just came to me at the right time. Another reminder to myself too! At night - haha, another interesting event. Went for SHAPE & MEN'S HEALTH MAGAZINE's Night Marathon 5km. The timing wasn't really good as I took 40mins to complete 5km..hmmm..need more training! Sunday! Is the best day besides Saturday because, you don't have to work! Breakfast with Fern after such a long time (...
