Swimming Is Good

I was feeling so lazy since I came back from vacation. Thought of going to gym was there but the action to it wasn't. This morning went for a swim at the pool in my apartment. The 30 minutes swim made so much difference.

Swimming is considered to be a healthy and relaxing activity. It not only tones the body and provides an excellent cardiovascular workout, it also strengthens your heart muscles and improves the delivery of oxygen to the different parts of the body. With that, it keeps you energize and takes away the awful lethargic feeling.

Another interesting fact about swimming:

Swimming is a great calorie burner

Swimming burns 3 calories a mile per pound of bodyweight. For instance if you weigh 150 lbs and it takes you roughly about 30 minutes to swim one mile, then you can expect to lose 900 calories in one hour. Swimming for fitness is quickly gaining a lot of popularity, as it can be a perfect activity for nearly anyone. This includes the most competitive athletes to the physically challenged individuals.

Go for a swim!

Here is the 2nd baby's ultrasound scan at 26 weeks.

Small Win to Celebrate

Finn woke me up this morning instead of me doing so for him. He has been waking up feeling lousy and would whine non stop during school days..he would not stop until I started scolding him. Last night I prep him and put him to bed earlier than keith (rather than waiting for Keith to pack his bags). I managed to pat him and he slept at 10.15pm (not early but it seems enough). Right before he sleeps, I asked him to promise not to whine when he wakes up and he did well. He woke me up instead. He came to me and said, mommy….i want to wake up already….
