Healthy Facts for a Happy Heart

Cold-water fish like salmon and sardines contains omega-3 fatty acids which may help reduce the risk of cardiovascular problems.

Supplement with CoQ10 and omega-3 for the antioxidant and vessel-protecting qualities. The heart is one of the most active tissues in the body, and requires an adequate supply of CoQ10. CoQ10 assists in maintaining heart health, in particular heart muscle function.

Simple exercise like walking are inexpensive and help maintain heart health.

Eat more low-fat, high fibre and low-sugar foods.

Take vitamin E which may also help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Dark chocolate, black grapes and tea contain very high amounts of catechins which are hearth healthy antioxidant.

Stop smoking. Stopping at ANY age can reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease.

Laughing heartily with family and friends is good for heart.

Manage stress by being proactive and addressing issues as they arise.

2 Years without Posting

2 years have passed so quickly and out of a sudden, I've decided to pay this blog a visit. Reading all the old post help to refresh good memories and great events which happened past years. My last posting was a short one showing the ultrasound scan of our 1st baby at 38weeks + and now...I am 27 weeks pregnant with my second baby. Can you see how time flies? Here is the 2nd baby's ultrasound scan at 26 weeks. 

Small Win to Celebrate

Finn woke me up this morning instead of me doing so for him. He has been waking up feeling lousy and would whine non stop during school days..he would not stop until I started scolding him. Last night I prep him and put him to bed earlier than keith (rather than waiting for Keith to pack his bags). I managed to pat him and he slept at 10.15pm (not early but it seems enough). Right before he sleeps, I asked him to promise not to whine when he wakes up and he did well. He woke me up instead. He came to me and said, mommy….i want to wake up already….
