Slow and Simple Monday

A bowl of Fried Noodles with Mushroom, Carrot, Cabbage and Chicken

Past weeks have been really busy and hectic as the international school children are now having their long summer break. I have not been cooking due to the tight schedule. Finally, today (Monday = Off Day), I managed to do some simple cooking. Went for late morning walk at Botanical Garden with Karen and followed with lunch. We then went for grocery shopping at Tesco but my energy level could not sustain long enough. I rushed to finish the shopping and head home. Took a power nap and then find some quiet time for myself to regain/charge my drained energy. Not wanting to leave the house for the rest of the day anymore. Hence, decided to cook a simple meal from whatever ingredients I can find at home. And ya, managed to cook something out of it. This bowl of noodle is special because I have added Chinese Red Wine into it as well....   :)

Another hectic and packed week waiting for me! Good night!

2 Years without Posting

2 years have passed so quickly and out of a sudden, I've decided to pay this blog a visit. Reading all the old post help to refresh good memories and great events which happened past years. My last posting was a short one showing the ultrasound scan of our 1st baby at 38weeks + and now...I am 27 weeks pregnant with my second baby. Can you see how time flies? Here is the 2nd baby's ultrasound scan at 26 weeks.

Small Win to Celebrate

Finn woke me up this morning instead of me doing so for him. He has been waking up feeling lousy and would whine non stop during school days..he would not stop until I started scolding him. Last night I prep him and put him to bed earlier than keith (rather than waiting for Keith to pack his bags). I managed to pat him and he slept at 10.15pm (not early but it seems enough). Right before he sleeps, I asked him to promise not to whine when he wakes up and he did well. He woke me up instead. He came to me and said, mommy….i want to wake up already….
